This is a great idea, but I’ve yet to get my hands on it. Zink (Zero Ink) printing technology uses CMY[K] crystal embedded paper with various overcoats to protect the image and create tone [semi-gloss, gloss, matte] and Dell has a product out for it as well as Polaroid.
A 30 pack of 2″ by 3″ (business card) format paper comes in at around $14 bucks. Could be fun to create custom business cards on the fly with my Nikon, Tablet, and Zink printer. I can’t wait to try it out.

My only concern… heat. The images are produced by heaters in the printer, and sunlight, and light itself generates heat [in a nutshell] and I’m afraid that if I produce anything with this printer and give it to a friend or family member, it could easily be damaged.
