A couple of days ago, I got my hands on the Microsoft Windows 7 Beta, and I use it on an HP 2000z tablet. The OS is fast, that is simple to understand, especially in the 64-bit flavor which I have installed and it utilizes the full 3+ gigabytes of memory that I have installed. I could have installed it as a virtual machine, but since my tablet just got back from the shop, there was nothing on it.

The biggest issue I have right now; it hates me and my dual digitizer empowered tablet. It just doesn’t like it. Sure, it works straight out of the box. But configuring it to detect the edge goes a bit screwy. It was better on Vista, but Vista is a dog compared to the 64bit Windows 7 Beta.

I’m loading up everything I use for school now, so, more as it develops.
