Back in 2002, I purchased Aeryth.com to create a storybook universe for collaborative writing. The idea was to construct a framework for writers to work together and stir creativity. Each new writer is given a world wherein they are given the power of creation. Each world is placed in an omniverse that interconnects over 35,000 other worlds, all of them, through Aeryth, the gateworld. On Aeryth there are lines of force, created during the Cleansing, a time where most sentient beings were wiped from Aeryth. A great upheaval of earth, the seas roiled, and the sky was set alight. Those who survived returned to a time where magic and myth became reality…
So, here is the beginning. The Historian wrote that nearly 12,000 years after the Cleansing, lines of force were created, and pools of magic liquid that looks like gold, formed over Aeryth. Where two or more lines crossed, a gate was forced open. Some small, some large, but all lead to a world in space and time. All around Aeryth, there are signs of the past, hints at the future, and threats to peace and prosperity. Aeryth itself is fractured, with areas that allow for magic that The Living call home. Other areas only allow technology to exist, where The Dead find their own prosperity. On both sides of these zones, there are good and bad, but the whole of Aeryth is besieged by the Technomancers and their Glitterman army. There are adventurers who seek out their own fame and fortune, and those stories are related here, in The Chronicles of Aeryth.
