Great. Queued for Movie… hope we have a tank and a healer.

If you read my blog, you might know that I’m a World of Warcraft player. Started during its Beta, took a break, went back, took a break, went back. Sometimes, you just have to do that otherwise you jump over counters and zerg the concession stand when they run out of Red Vines…

If you are familiar with WoW, then you’ve experienced everything from waiting to get into the game, to waiting to get into a raid, waiting to get into a dungeon, waiting for an instance to release, waiting for the Faire, waiting for a patrol, waiting for a battleground to start… waiting for a guild member to show up… waiting… waiting… waiting… [did I mention waiting?]

Now there is a movie version of World of Warcraft and Sam Raimi is going to direct it. Since it is just being released as to whom is doing the directing, I wouldn’t expect WoW – The Movie to hit a screen anytime soon. Sadly, this may be the “Jump the Shark” moment that WoW has been trying to fend off. I hope not, it is the only game that I play as an adult, and I haven’t played any games since I was 18 or so.

I can’t imagine how long the wait will be at the movie theater.
