Concerning the deletion of 1984 from Kindles around the world, but no, an attempt at class action status based on the deletion [and the notes contained therein], has reopened the wound.

You see, when you read a book on the Kindle, you can take notes, a digital margin of sorts. Well, a Kindle owner was doing just that and when Amazon pulled the book, it took the notes with it. Since it was a delete command, they went bye-bye. In digital age version of the dog ate my homework.

I got rid of the family Kindle because they changed the rules after I purchased [ they disabled text-to-speech ] and subsequently have been lowering prices, and I would say it is because of reducing demand.
