At that point, I gave up on everything Samsung. I don’t care how good a platform it is, and I think it was the best on the market at the time. The removed my information, informing me that “someone” had to manually put my number on the site because it wasn’t a database that could have been mis-flagged making me a reseller. It was a bit offputting to hear a guy say he’s lost on his way to my house to pick up a computer and I am 15 minutes away at a coffee shop enjoying some local music and good coffee at 7pm.
Ultimately, they gave me a brand new Ultra which I immediately sold without even opening it. I switched to an HP. I liked it, the integrated Wacom tablet was great, but it was heavy. Now I’m on the Mac. Great quality, amazing screen. No touch/tablet features, but I’m learning to live with that. Since I don’t have Photoshop on my Mac [argh, Adobe, just give me a cross platform license], it really doesn’t matter. I can’t wait for the Mac Tablet now because I’m hoping that I’ll get the same solid screen that my iPhone has. PC Tablets have this problem where around the perimeter, they lose sensitivity. On the HP it was the best quality I had, until I had my iPhone.
Anyway, I just wanted to comment about how Samsung treated me [read: Poo], and where I ended up. Check out Ars Technica, if you are into Tech related sites.
