MobWatch.com – Online Reputation Manager

by James Hatch on September 4, 2009

The idea for MobWatch.com has been nagging at me for awhile. I put it online back when I first acquired the domain, but the software I used wasn’t so hot. Not being a coder, I couldn’t make it exactly how I wanted it. That is pretty much true to this day, but the resources I have are greater. If you visit the site: MobWatch, you’ll be able to see what I have in mind. Basically, the site allows you to link to profiles of users on other sites and discuss the benefits and detractors of that user. Sometimes it will be possible to correlate a user on multiple sites into one profile on MobWatch, but correlation doesn’t necessarily equate to the same user. I’ve put the administrator account as the initial user, so go visit and link to your own profile if you want, eventually, all users of the site will be listed, as well as those users of Reddit, Digg, Twitter, Facebook, Bebo, Flickr, Friendster, Mobble [one of my other projects], Last.FM, LinkedIn, MySpace, Orkut, Ebay, and others as I decide to throw them into the list. Demand for a particular site will also cause me to throw it into the list.
