In what might be the biggest sign of change to my inner child, who grew up with Disney being the icon of early childhood development, I found out today that Universal is planning to launch the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park. Complete with Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, it will be an extension to the Universal Orlando theme park.
I can not believe the phenomenon Harry Potter has become. A cash cow that any business person would love to have created. But to stumble into it by sitting around writing is astonishing. The best plans in the world can’t create such magic.
