I’m somewhat of a fan of Cheese. I got a hold of some Manchego and it tastes a bit lighter than the sharpest cheddar I’ve ever had, it was inexpensive cheddar, so I’m going to start documenting my consumption of cheese here on my blog. I have a strange desire to be a Cheese Monger, but I doubt I’ll ever become anything more than a cheese eater.
Manchego – Aged 8 Months, the slice I got was around that age. It is made in Spain from Raw Sheep’s Milk and has considerable oversight by the body called the “Consejo Regulador de la Denominacion de Origen Queso Manchego.” You get the idea that they don’t mess around when it comes to Manchego. According to this article, it comes from the lands of Don Quixote. Which is great when you have some type of context and history to give some psychological flavor.
