Things are moving in random directions as usual.
One thing that has been a constant was always my domains. I have a domain for each project that I’m launching. The hobby that it is, is pretty overwhelming in that it divides my time up. 100 sites and projects in 1 year. This blog, the one that is simply named “JamesHatch.com” has been operating as my full time online presence for a couple of years now but off and on since 2001. But it is my name. And that isn’t exactly the name of a blog. So, I’m moving the content of this blog, over to its own domain.
It will be done over the next week, and the domain will be CandyShell.com, which is fitting because you never know what will be inside. The focus of the site will remain the same over at CandyShell.com, that is, the merging of business, technology, and ethics. But my personal site will be modified to include updates from the 45+ projects that I have in different stages. So, a lot more activity here, but it will relate to the projects as well as personal updates about school endeavors, research projects. Stuff like that.
I’m also currently a citizen blogger at the FrederickNewsPost.com where you can ask questions and read my snarky write ups of products hitting the market. That started this last week. I don’t work for the FNP. I simply have a Citizen Blog. The FNP is my local paper. I’ve got to ask them to make a direct link to my blog. You can get there by clicking here.
So, basically, I’ll be posting here when I post elsewhere. I’ll link to the articles I post. This site will turn into a summary of my writings and wanderings online instead of my tech punditry. Make sense? Sort of an identity crisis. Things are changing.
I’m also attempting to go back to school to get a Masters in Information Technology, and a Doctor of Management in June. Wish me luck. There isn’t anything on CandyShell.com except the framework I use for all of my project blogs. Stop by over the next week and you’ll see all of this content over there.
[EDIT]: Everything moved over to CandyShell.com
