In my yearning to be an actual application developer instead of just a project manager who can direct programmers, I’ve decided to jump in with both feet and launch a site that will be part of my online app development experience. I want to code for the iPhone and iPad, so as I experiment and learn, I’ll post my discoveries and observations on HATCHsoftware.com, which will also be the site where I launch the applications I develop.
I’m starting from nothing. I know nothing about actually coding anything. Well, not entirely. I’m an oldschool HTML programmer with little bits of PHP, Ruby, VB, C# and whatnot thrown in. Not enough to build a sophisticated application though. I hope to change that.
As I said on HATCHsoftware.com, “Wish me luck, it won’t be pretty.”
