Massdrop Blue Box IEMs

Back, way back, back using the way back machine… there was a website called Mobshop. It was great. You could purchase something, and as the number of customers increased for a certain product, the price would go down to a minimum price. That is the basis for The site has a limited number of categories right now, but I imagine it increasing as it becomes more popular.

me, being the gadget hound that I am, I decided to start getting gadgets from Massdrop. This time it is IEMs, or In Ear Monitors.


The interesting thing abouse a Massdrop Blue Box is that there is a random chance of being upgraded to a different item. Give it a try. This will be my first, probably of many, Massdrop purchase. I’ll follow up with a review based on a comparison between my Apple EarPods, Apple AirPods, and whatever new IEM I acquire. The reason I choose these as baseline is that they are popular and easily accessible. Things are moving quickly from the 3.5mm minijack to wireless/Bluetooth and I’m all for it. Pushing the limit of technology means better technology. Holding on to the past means you never see the future. You don’t have to forget the past, but why receive it?
